The 123/MERCEDES-6-R-V is designed for post-1962 6 cylinder engines. The 123/MERCEDES-6-R-V distributor is designed for W108, W109, W110, W111, W112, W113, W114, W123 and W130 6-cyl. engines in the Mercedes:- 220,- 230, 230S, 230SL,- 250, 250SL, 250SE, 250CE,- 280, 280S, 280SE, 280SL,- 300SE, 300SEL, 300SEb. Please check the dimensions and pay special attention to the bottom part of the shaft. The 123/Mercedes-6-R-V does not have a cogwheel. When your original distributor does have one, you can't directly use the 123ignition, it has to be adapted. Features of the 123/Mercedes-6-R-V electronic ignition The unit offers a built-in LED for easy static timing and several different advance-curves. It also offers:- Vacuum advance- Automatic dwell- Spark balancing- Automatic power-cut after 1 second- Gear shift retard Please note the following about the 123/Mercedes-6-R-V For electronic driven fuel injected engines (that need a trigger pulse from the ignition) please order the 15-2092 When your original distributor is equipped with a cogwheel, the 123ignition first has to be mechanically adjusted before you can use it.
